Johnston Withdraws from School Board Race
Six candidates are left to compete for two seats on the Wentzville School Board.

Amy E. Johnston of Wentzville has withdrawn her candidacy for a seat on the Wentzville School Board.
Johnston, who is the principal of Francis Howell Middle School, cited family concerns as her reason for pulling from the race.
"I hope I will have the opportunity to serve the district at another time," Johnston told Patch.

Still in the race for the two three-year terms on the board are , Aaron Schaper, , David Hurst, Sandy Garber and .
Cox and Hurst are the incumbents, and Cox serves as secretary of the current board.
