Lake Saint Louis Man Victim of Accidential Shooting, Police Say
Police say 65-year-old resident was killed when the gun he was cleaning went off.

A Lake Saint Louis resident died Saturday afternoon when the handgun he was apparently cleaning discharged, police say.
Dennis Burk, 65, may have been cleaning a .45-caliber handgun at his home when he was shot, said Capt. Chris DiGiuseppi of the Lake Saint Louis Police Department. DiGiuseppi said Burk was hit in the chest.
He was discovered in his home on the 30th block of Rue Grand Drive by a member of his family, DiGiuseppi said.

The medical examiners office ruled that the shooting was accidential, he said.
