Racism in America is pretty much a liberal mind game and if you don't believe me just watch ten minutes of the George Zimmerman trial.This trial is a joke and would never have happened if it weren't for the professional race baiters and leading liberals like Al Sharpton and his co-horts in the mainstream media banging the drums relentlessly for an indictment in a case where the local authorities never wanted to try. Believe me they had good reason not to want to try this and that reason is that they didn't have a case.
Our illustrious president Barak Obama just could wait to inject himself and race into what should have been an unfortunate death by uttering his famous quote, "If I had a son, he'd look just like Trayvon". I guess that he's never thought that any of the hundreds of young black men killed in Chicago every year would have looked like him. Maybe that's because those young men are victims of black on black crime and George Zimmerman, as the media has said is a "white hispanic". What the hell is that? Wouldn't that make Obama a "white black"?
I guess that all black folks look alike to Obama (there's that white half coming out) who unlike Trayvon went to one of the most exclusive private schools in Hawaii and then on to Occidental, Columbia and then Harvard. Trayvon on the other hand wasn't destined for Columbia or Harvard. Trayvon wasn't an honor student and who's hobbies apparently included petty crime and smoking pot. By the way that's one of the things that Trayvon did share with Obama, the love of the ganja. F.Y.I. for the sake of full disclosure I too in my youth had a love affair with Mary Jane.
The point to all of this is that this trial should never have taken place. As we now know, the prosecution put on a hell of a defense and now what we're seeing is the second phase of the defense. There is absolutely no evidence to prove beyond a doubt that Zimmerman is guilty of murder two or manslaughter. Will Al Sharpton accept the verdict? Will he rush down to Sanford and call for calm as vigorously that he screamed for Zimmerman's head before any evidence of guilt or innocence was heard? Doubtful because that doesn't fit his or the media's racist narrative. That will be another tragedy heaped on the existing tragedy of this young man's death. As a bereaved parent my heart goes out to Trayvon's parents. I hope that they can find a measure of peace someday.
