Local MO Resident Selected as Winner of National Contest by USG Corporation

Charlie Weiss, of Weiss Drywall Company, is the winner of USG’s Building Greatness contest. This contest called for finishers to submit their best project. Hundreds of submissions were entered into the contest. Once all submissions were collected, the top five were selected. Fellow contractors, finishers, builders and fans then voted for their favorite finish project out of the top five. In the end, Charlie Weiss was victorious. His prize? A trip to the Pan Am Games in Toronto this summer for him and a guest.

Residing in Independence, Missouri, Charlie is a second-generation finisher at Weiss Drywall Company. He specializes in custom homes and projects with “drywall art.” His project was impressive and demonstrated his acumen for craftsmanship.
