Local Woman to Compete for the Title of Mrs. Missouri
For immediate release to the press...
Melissa Harbaugh will represent the area as Mrs. Wentzville in the Mrs. Missouri America Pagent to be held in Chillicothe on June 27, 2015. This competition is the state preliminary to Mrs. America and Mrs. World. Delegates compete in three categories. The interview comprises of 50% of the score, Swimsuit accounts for 25% and the remaining 25% is from the Evening Gown Competition.
At the local level, contestants make appearances at community events, fairs and festivals.
Mrs. Wentzville will be promoting her platform Fighting Obesity through Project 10 and Project 10 Kids by speaking to groups and volunteering at activities.
Mrs. Harbaugh is married to her husband Michael Harbaugh. They reside in the Wentzville/Foristell area with their 3 children Austin,
18, Ethan, 12 and Micah 3. She is an entrepreneur and coach in health and fitness as well as an in-home child care provider. She is actively involved in both the Outreach and Women’s Ministry through her church, Element Church in Wentzville. She enjoys volunteering at local community volunteer/outreach programs, participating in outdoor activities, and traveling.
