A kitchen island makes a perfect place for friends to "catch up" or the whole family to gather while dinner’s being prepared. (A counter top peninsula works great too.) Here are some other great advantages:
- More cabinet storage space for cookware or that new cooking "gismo" you just bought.
- Great for kids doing homework while dinner is cooking allowing you to "keep and eye" on what's going on.
- Adds extra seating to kitchen area for parties, family gatherings and meals.
- More work area for BIG cooking projects like making sugar cookies with friends and family at Christmas.
CMS Homes offer’s “ The Beaumont” , “ The Briana ” and “ The Whitmore ” which are all open floor plan ranch homes that work great with kitchen islands.
