Police Blotter: Abandoned Vehicles, Stealing From an Open Garage

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department from Dec. 28, 2011 to Jan. 3, 2012.

December 28:

  • 2:05 pm: A female subject was detained for shoplifting items valued at $115.38 on Ronald Reagan Drive. She was issued a summons and released.
  • 2:48 pm: There was a two vehicle accident on Highway N. No injuries were reported.
  • 6:13 pm: Two vehicles got into an accident on South Henke Road. No injuries were reported.

December 29:

  • 6:52 pm: An officer responded to Honeywood Drive for a report of an unauthorized charge on a victim's checking account.

December 30:

  • 1:51 am: During a traffic stop for a lane violation on Lake Forest Circle, an officer issued the driver a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • 9:32 am: There was a theft on Hawk Ridge Trail. A subject drove off without paying for gas at .
  • 9:49 am: A bag of what appears to be marijuana was found on Woodlake Court.
  • 3:14 pm: Cash and an MP3 player were stolen from a residence on Harbor View Drive.
  • 6:52 pm: There was an accident on I-64.
  • 8:41 pm: An accident occurred on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.

December 31:

  • 10:31 am: Items were stolen during the night from an open garage on Ampere Court. No suspects at this time.
  • 1:15 pm: Officers took a subject who was threatening to harm themselves on Normandy Drive to the hospital for psychological evaluation.
  • 2:41 pm: There was a verbal domestic incident on Woodchuck Lane. No charges were filed.
  • 10:55 pm: An officer responded to a two vehicle accident on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. One of the drivers was arrested for DWI.

January 1:

  • 12:17 pm: A larceny was reported on Picardy Drive.
  • 12:30 pm: A wallet was found on Cedar Point Place.
  • 9:00 pm: There was a report of an assault on Welsh Drive.

January 2:

  • 12:04 pm: There was a burglary on Prospect Road at Purpose Wrecker Sales.
  • 1:52 pm: A car crashed into a cable barrier on I-64.
  • 5:43 pm: There was a two vehicle accident on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
  • 8:04 pm: An abandoned vehicle was towed on westbound I-70 at Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.

January 3:

  • 8:25 pm: An abandoned vehicle was towed on the north commuter lot of I-64.
  • 11:28 pm: An officer responded to a domestic disturbance on Marine Terrace. There was also property damage done to a vehicle during the disturbance.
