Police Blotter: Contractor Fraud, Broken Windshield

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department, March 14 - 20.

March 14

  • 3:09 a.m. An officer responded to Lakewood Drive for a report of a domestic incident in progress between adult males. Upon arrival a 31-year-old male was taken into protective custody after making statements to a police officer that he wanted to harm himself. The male was transported to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
  • 8:41 a.m. A purse with miscellaneous content that was found on Watersedge Court was turned over to the police at the station.
  • 2:55 p.m. An officer took a report of a wallet stolen at Brevco Plaza.
  • 7:06 p.m. An accident was reported on Robert Raymond Drive.

March 15

  • 8:15 a.m. An officer responded to the 500 block of Keswick Drive for a report of property damage, a broken window.
  • 1:02 p.m. A fugitive was apprehended on Oak Hill Drive.
  • 8:06 p.m. An accident was reported on Interstate 70.

  • 2:16 a.m. A fugitive was apprehended at Centre on the Lake.
  • 9:59 a.m. An officer responded to the 700 block of Russell Terrace in reference to property damage, a broken windshield.
  • 2:39 p.m. Officers responded to Keswick Drive for a possible overdose of prescribed medicine. An investigation determined the incident to be accidental.
  • 3:31 p.m. A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving while suspended.
  • 3:30 p.m. An officer responded to the 400 block of Oak Place in reference to a stolen mailbox.
  • 4:37 p.m. An officer responded to the police department to investigate a possible fraud.
  • 5:53 p.m. An officer responded to Fountain Grass Drive for a female shoplifter. The shoplifter was issued a summons and released.
  • 6:52 p.m. Officers responded to Oakley Lane for a report of a domestic incident in progress between two subjects. Investigation at the scene determined the incident to be non-criminal in nature.
  • 7:01 p.m. Officers responded to Oak Place for a report of stealing/fraud. An investigation revealed that a contractor's services were paid for in advance for repair work that had not been started. The investigation is ongoing.
  • 7:08 p.m. Officers responded to Savoy Drive for a report of an injured animal that had been struck by a car. Officers located an injured and suffering raccoon. The animal was humanely destroyed and properly disposed of.
  • 7:58 p.m. Officers responded to Keswick Drive for a report of family disturbance and a possible suicidal female. A 49-year-old female agreed to voluntarily be transported to the hospital for psychological treatment.
  • 8:19 p.m. A case of negligent burning or exploding involving a juvenile was reported on Silent Meadow Drive.

March 17

  • 12:05 a.m. An officer initiated a traffice stop for an equipment violation. The driver was issued a summons for driving with a revoked driver's license.
  • 12 p.m. An accident was reported on S. Henke Road.
  • 7:36 p.m. While on a traffice stop, an officer arrested a 22-year-old female for possession of marijuana and a 24-year-old male for active warrants.
  • 10:35 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Oak Place in reference to a sick case.

March 18

  • 2:55 p.m. A 22-year-old male was arrested for driving with a revoked driver's license on Interstate 64.

March 19

  • 2:24 p.m. An officer responded to the police department in reference to an identity theft on Huzzah Drive.
  • 4:47 p.m. An officer responded to Aeropostale in for a report of shoplifting that had occurred approximately five minutes earlier.
  • 5:59 p.m. An officer responded to the department to take a report of stealing that had occurred overnight from an unlocked vehicle on Savoy Drive.
  • 10:28 p.m. An officer responded to Savoy Drive in reference to a stolen wallet. The suspect was located and charged.

March 20

  • 1:02 a.m. An officer picked up a fugitive from Wentzville Police Department.
  • 10:16 p.m. A stolen license plate was reported on Fountain View Terrace.
  • 10:32 p.m. A subject on Summer Fair Court was arrested on outstanding warrants.
