Police Blotter: Multiple Assaults in Street Fight on Welsh Drive

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department, March 21- 27.

March 21

  • 9:49 a.m. An officer responded to the 1400 block of Tucks Inn in reference to items stolen from a vehicle.
  • 10:51 a.m. An officer was dispatched to the Rue Grand Marina for a report of property damage that had just been discovered. The damage was done to a wall.
  • 2:10 p.m. An officer was dispatched to Prominence Lane for a report of a broken basement window at a vacant residence.
  • 4:03 p.m. There was a report of child molestation, first degree, on Lemans Court.
  • 5:08 p.m. An officer responded to Ronald Reagan Drive for a theft of fuel. The incident is under investigation.
  • 7:44 p.m. An officer responded to Robert Raymond Drive in reference to a report of stolen gasoline. Full restitution was made and no prosecution was desired by the victim.
  • 11:15 p.m. An officer responded to the 8000 block of Highway N in reference to a damaged vehicle window and a stolen radar detector.

March 22

  • 6:38 a.m. An accident was reported on Hawk Ridge Trail.
  • 6:46 a.m. An accident was reported on Interstate 70.
  • 4:41 p.m. Officers were dispatched to for a report of a male subject who ran from security officers after being detained for shoplifting. The male subject was located and taken into custody.
  • 6:20 p.m. An accident was reported on Hwy. N. A subject backed into the victim's vehicle while pulling out. 
  • 9:23 p.m. A fugitive was apprehended for failure to appear/contempt of court at the Wentzville Police Department.

  • 10:01 a.m. During a traffic stop on I-64 for expired plates/plates from another vehicle, the driver was arrest for an active warrant out of Wentzville P.D.
  • 2:59 p.m. An officer responded to Walmart for a report of a female shoplifter being detained. A 21-year-old female was arrested for stealing.
  • 10:56 p.m. A Lake Saint Louis officer made an arrest for possession of marijuana during a multi-agency sobriety checkpoint on Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles County.

March 24

  • 2:42 a.m. A 21-year-old male was arrested on I-64 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
  • 2:49 a.m. An officer responded to Ferguson Police Department for a warrant arrest. The subject was transported back to the Lake Saint Louis P.D. where she was booked and processed then released on bond.

March 25

  • 1:06 a.m. An officer responded to the 190th block of Rue Grand Drive in reference to a small unattended fire of lawn refuse. The Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
  • 3:30 a.m. A 28-year-old male was arrested on Hwy. N for driving with a revoked license.

March 26

  • 7:19 a.m. An accident was reported on Robert Raymond Drive.
  • 10:51 a.m. An officer responded to the 200 block of Hickory Wood Drive in reference to a peace disturbance. A summons was issued.
  • 2:11 p.m. An officer responded to Royale Court for fraudulent activity regarding online transactions.
  • 7:05 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Bayside Court for a report of a verbal domestic incident. Both parties were separated and no signs of a physical altercation had taken place. Investigation revealed the incident to be noncriminal in nature.
  • 7:53 p.m. An officer responded to Cedar Cove Trail for a report of a stolen license plate.

March 27

  • 4:20 a.m. A fugitive was apprehended on eastbound I-70 at milemarker 215.
  • 4:15 p.m. An accident was reported on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.
  • 4:50 p.m. A 24-year-old male was arrested on Harbor View Drive for an active warrant.
  • 9:59 p.m. Officers responded to Welsh Drive in reference to several subjects fighting in the street. Investigation revealed that multiple assaults had occurred between multiple involved parties. Police investigation referred to prosecuting attorney for review and consideration of possible criminal charges.
