Police Blotter: Runaway Mailbox?

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department for the week of March 30 - April 5.

March 30:

  • An officer arrested a subject on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard for DWI. The driver's blood alcohol content measured .271%.
  • Two subjects were issued summonses for shoplifting on Ronald Reagan Drive.
  • An accident occurred on I-70.
  • Police dealt with an attempted identity theft on Bridlespur Lane.

March 31:

  • There was a report of property damage on Lakeside Circle.
  • Police took a report of a missing item--possibly stolen--on Veterans Memorial Parkway.
  • Burglary occurred on Savoy Drive. Tools were stolen from the victim's garage.

April 1:

  • Shoplifting occurred on Ronald Reagan Drive. Summons were issued.
  • A subject was arrested on Locksley Manor Drive for driving while suspended and two active warrants.

April 2:

  • Officers arrested two subjects on Highway N during a traffic stop. The driver was charged with DWI, driving while suspended, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Police arrested a drive for DWI and driving while suspended on Hawk Ridge Trail.
  • While investigating a peace disturbance call on Civic Center Drive, an excessively intoxicated male was taken into protective custody.
  • A domestic incident occurred on Bent Oak Drive.
  • Property damage was reported on Cognac Drive. Graffiti was found on a side of a maintenance shed.

April 3:

  • An accident occurred on Ronald Reagan Drive.
  • During a traffic stop on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard, the driver was arrested for an active warrant.
  • There was an accident on eastbound Highway N.
  • Police reported to Braeswick Drive for an animal bite. The victim was treated for her injuries and no charges were made.

April 4:

  • A vehicle left the scene of an accident on Locksley Manor Drive.
  • An accident occurred on Highway N.
  • An officer responded to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department to take a report of harrassment over the phone. It is currently under investigation.
  • A subject met with police who advised them that several company checks were fraudulently given to a local business.
  • Police found a mailbox on Savoy Drive.

April 5:

  • A license plate tab was stolen off of a vehicle on Bent Twig Drive.
  • Items were stolen from a vehicle on Stonewood Bend.
  • Police responded to Lake Saint Louis Boulevard for a fight that was in progress.
  • An officer reported to Marquette Drive in regards to a subject who wanted to harm himself.
  • A driver was arrested for DWI on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.
