Police Blotter: Shoplifting Incidents, Heroin Overdose

Police Blotter for the third week of February.

February 16:

  • A driver was arrested on Ronld Reagan Drive for DWI. The subject's blood alcohol content measured .352%.
  • Officers reported to Schooner Lane in response to property damage (shattered glass on a storm door).
  • Police responded to a domestic incident on Hickory Wood Court. Both parties were given summons for domestic assault.
  • An officer reported to Bent Oak Drive for a child custody dispute.
  • A vehicle left the scene of an accident on Medical Drive.

February 17:

  • There was a report of a domestic disturbance on Breezy Knoll Lane. No charges.
  • Property damage (broken window, $350) was reported on Woodchuck Lane.
  • Police took a report of property damage on Big River Drive.

February 18:

  • During a traffic stop on South Henke Road, an officer arrested a subject for an active warrant.
  • An officer arrested a driver on Hawk Ridge Boulevard at Orf Road during a traffic stop for active warrants.
  • A driver on South Outer Road was arrested for driving while suspended.
  • Police reported to Ronald Reagan Drive for a report of shoplifting. Both subjects were issued summons.
  • There was a report of shoplifting on Fountain Grass Drive.
  • Officers reported to Highway N for a case of items stolen from a wallet. The wallet was accidentally left inside a business by the owner.
  • Police responded to Black Tower Court to help medical personnel with a subject who was having extreme difficulty breathing. Subject had overdosed on heroin and narcotics were found at the scene.

February 19:

  • There was a report of burglary on Villa Drive. An electronic item was stolen from a residence while the owner was in the basement.
  • An officer reported to Fountain Grass Drive for a report of shoplifting, and later made an investigative traffic stop on Lake Knoll Drive where the two suspects were issued summons for shoplifting.

February 20:

  • Officers reported to Fernwood Terrace for a sick case: a subject had smoked herbal incense called "Head Trip" and had a bad reaction. The subject was taken to a hospital for treatment.
  • An accident occurred on Millennium Drive.
  • Police responded to a domestic incident between family members on Whitehills Court. No charges.

February 21:

  • During a traffic stop on Westbound I-70, the vehicle's passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana.
  • There was a report of theft from a motor vehicle on Lakewood Drive.
  • Police reported to a residence on Lake Forest Circle for a burglary. It is now under investigation.
  • A theft of $165 worth of items from a vehicle was reported on Royale Court.

February 22:

  • A vehicle was towed from Veterans Memorial Parkway.
