River City Rascal Signs With Chicago White Sox
Dustin Umberger compiled a 4-2 record with an 0.96 ERA in 22 appearances this season with the River City Rascals.
River City Rascals closer Dustin Umberger signed a professional contract with the Chicago White Sox organziation on Tuesday.
Umberger will report immediately to the White Sox Class A farm club in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
The right-hander, in his second season with River City, compiled a 4-2 record with an 0.96 ERA in 22 appearances this season. He recorded eight saves, striking out 46 batters and walking just seven.
