
The date and race course have been set for the firstΒ . The event will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25 atΒ . Its aim is to raise funds for worthy community programs.
βThis yearβs fundraising focus will be the Special Education Department and the Friends of the Wentzville Parks,β said Brian DeLay, event coordinator for Run for the Ridge. βHalf of the proceeds will be used by the Peine Ridge PTO to purchase technology the department. The other half will go toward the construction of a new park along Peine Road in Wentzville.β
The starting line for the 5K race will be staged on Campus Drive at Holt High School. The course will turn east on Pearce Boulevard, then continue through area neighborhoods before returning to the finish line at the school.Β Β

βThis 5K course is perfect for both seasoned runners and beginners alike,β said DeLay. βWhether you live in Wentzville, or outside the area, we invite you to join us for a day of fitness and fun for a good cause.β
Registration
Registration will be processed through Active.com. Online registration will close on June 24. There will be no race day registration.

- 5K β $15 before May 25; $18 after May 25
- Family Fun Run β $10 before May 25; $13 after May 25
