Sports Report: Winter Sports Are Coming Up Fast

The fall sports season is just about over in the state of Missouri.

Most fall teams in St. Charles County are already done playing, which means most schools are already thinking about the winter sports season. Despite recent higher temperature, winter sports are just around the corner. Practices are fully underway and Missouri allows the first wreslting matches and basketball games to being Nov. 21. 

For the next few weeks, teams will around the County will begin play. Here are the season-opening dates for each team. 

• Boys Basketball: Nov. 28 at Winfield Tip-Off Classic
• Girls Basketball: Nov. 28 at Troy Tournament 
• Wrestling: 6 p.m. on Nov. 22, at Troy Buchanan
• Girls Swimming: 4 p.m. on Dec. 5, at McCluer North

• Boys Basketball: Nov. 28 at the Pattonville Tournament
• Girls Basketball: Nov. 28 at Troy Tournament
• Wrestling: 6 p.m. Nov. 30 at Francis Howell North
• Girls Swimming: Starts today.
