St. Charles County Taxes Due Dec. 31
Your payment is still due despite bills not being mailed out.

The deadline for paying taxes by the end of this year hasn't changed, despite some issues with getting bills out to St. Charles County taxpayers.
Due to issues with a new software system that the county installed in its collections office, property tax bills have been sent late to county residents.

John Sonderegger, coordinator for the county's Office of Public Information, said Monday that some property tax bills have been sent out but not all have been. "They're in the process of being sent out," Sonderegger said.
Bills can be paid online, in person or over the phone.

Real estate tax bills now are available online at the St. Charles County government website at sccmo.org. Payment can be made through the Collector of Revenueβs home page. Personal property tax bills have been mailed.
Payments for 2011 taxes received on or after Jan 1, 2012, are subject to late payment penalty and interest as required by state law. The County Administration Building will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 31.Β
Mailed payments are credited as of the United States Post Office postmark date. Paying via the countyβs website will be posted when the bill is paid.
Tax payments are accepted in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, at the County Administration Building, 201 N. Second Street, St. Charles, MO., 63301.
There is also a drop box located on North Second Street in front of the County Administration Building. The contents are removed at least once a day. Make checks payable to Michelle D. McBride, St. Charles County Collector.Β
