Timberland Honors 2011 Graduates

In a ceremony held Saturday at Lindenwood University.

Β sent 345 graduates out into the world Saturday. The ceremony was held at Lindenwood University.

Principal Winston Rogers and Wentzville R-IV Superintendent Dr. Terry Adams both spoke to the students about graduation being the end of one chapter of their education, but a beginning to the next one. Adams in particular noted the need for graduates β€” regardless of career path β€” to keep learning.

"Good luck, work hard, take pride in what you do," Adams said in his speech. "And learn baby learn!"

The students chose history teacher Matthew Smith as their guest speaker. Smith spoke of his affection for the class and gave them a few lessons for the years ahead.
