Wentzville Man Involved in Four-Vehicle Crash
Accident occurred on Highway 40, east of Winghaven.

A Wentzville man was involved in a four-vehicle crash on June 24. The crash occurred at 8:43 a.m. on eastbound Highway 40, east of Winghaven Blvd.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all four vehicles were eastbound on Highway 40.
A 2011 Ford Escape, driven by Amanda S. Smith, 31 Colorado Springs, CO, was in the far left lane. A 2006 Infiniti, driven by Forrest R. Neal, 43, Columbia, MO, struck the rear of the the Ford Escape which caused it to go off the left side of the road.

The Escape then struck the cable median and overturned.
The Infiniti continued eastbound and struck the rear of a 2000 Ford Sienna, driven by Adam M. Snarr, 28, . The Infiniti then hit the rear of a 2011 Frieghtliner truck, driven by Mark S. Cameron, 54, Springfield, MO.

Three people sustained injuries in the crash.
- Amanda K. Smith, driver, had moderate injuries.
- Jackson A. Smith, infant, had minor injuries.
- Nathaniel W. Smith, 25, occupant, had moderate injuries.
The three injured persons, all of Colorado Springs, CO, were taken to St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
All those involved were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
