A man was killed Tuesday night in a one-vehicle accident on Highway D, two miles west of Missouri Route 94.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the accident occurred at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15.
Brandon C. Harke, 23, Wentzville, was driving his 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound on Route D. The vehicle entered the eastbound lanes, according to the report, and Harke lost control of the car.

The car travelled off the north side of the road, striking several trees and overturning before coming to a stop.
Harke was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Charles County Ambulance personnel.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
