Wentzville Police Blotter: Victim's Home Put on Craigslist in Fraud Attempt

Following is a list of reports made by officers of the from Sun., Aug. 19 to Tues, Aug. 21.

August 19

• A disturbance was reported at 12:54 a.m. in the 400 block of Wilson Street. Jeffrey McRoberts, 21, was arrested for domestic violence.
• A DWI was reported on Hwy 61 north at Peine Road at 3:13 a.m.
• Property damage was reported in the 200 block of Walnut Avenue at 9:32 p.m. Holes were put in siding from wiring being pulled. The damage was valued at under $750.

August 20

• An open door was reported in the 1000 block of East Pearce Boulevard at 2:30 a.m.
• An open door was reported in the 1800 block of Wentzville Parkway at 2:59 a.m.
• Property damage was reported in the 100 block of Coyote Trail at 7:37 a.m.
• Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 7200 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 9:57 a.m. An alleged rape is under investigation.
• Fraud was reported at at 10:52 a.m. Gregory Murphy, 25, was arrested for forgery and fugitive from justice.
• Stealing was reported at 3:18 p.m. at the . Jaavonte Carter, 34, was arrested for shoplifting clothes valued at under $500.
• Stealing was reported at 5:02 p.m. at . James Lewis, 21, was arrested for stealing video games valued at under $500.
• A peace disturbance was reported at 6:46 p.m. on Foster Lane. Steven Parks, 40 was arrested for assault.
• At 9:31 p.m., a peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Coley Court. The report was a noise complaint about a pool pump.

August 21

• Stealing was reported at 5:05 a.m. at the on Continental Drive. Currency (over $500) was taken from a room.
• Stealing was reported at 12:22 p.m. on Brookfield Court. A purse was stolen from a vehicle. Value was under $500.
• Stealing was reported at 2:16 p.m. in the 700 block of West Pearce Boulevard. A GPS/mp3 player was stolen from a vehicle.
• At 5:17 p.m., fraud was reported in the 100 block of Brookshire Creek Drive. The victim reported that someone had posted that her house was for rent on Craigslist.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Tree Stump Drive at 6:08 p.m.
