Wentzville Police Blotter: Fireworks Damage Mailbox

Following is a list of reports filed by officers of the on Wednesday, July 4 and Thursday, July 5.

July 4

• Property damage was reported in the 400 block of Engish Manor Drive at 1:36 a.m. A mailbox was damaged by fireworks. There was no victim as the mailboxes are no longer used. 
• A derelict vehicle was reported at 5:04 a.m. on I-70 west at mile marker 211.
• Stealing was reported at at 12:37 p.m. Joshua Bisher, 25, was arrested for shoplifting under $500.
• Stealing was reported at at 2:20 p.m. A juvenile was arrested for stealing a shirt.
• Daniel Hough, 22, was arrested for discharging fireworks in the 2000 block of Peine Road at 11:23 p.m.

July 5

• At 7:04 a.m., a derelict vehicle in the first block of Foster Lane was given a 15-day warning.
• At 7:18 a.m., a derelict vehicle in the 1400 block of Kathleen Drive was given a 15-day warning.
• At 9:12 a.m., a derelict vehicle on I-70 west at Hwy Z was given a 48-hour warning.
• At 9:18 am., a derelict vehicle on I-70 west at mile marker 206 was given a 48-hour warning.
• Stealing was reported at at 12:41 p.m. The suspect was embezzling items from the store.
• Drug violations were reported at 1:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of Evergreen Court. Marijuana was found in an apartment while exterminating. No charges were filed.
• Fraud was reported at 1:58 p.m. in the 900 block of Main Plaza Drive. A counterfeit $5 bill was used to purchase fireworks.
• Police were called to check the well-being of a resident in the 400 block of Luetkenhaus Boulevard at 3:36 p.m.
• An auto accident was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of the South Service Road.
• At 7:14 p.m., William Roderique, 40, was arrested in the 300 block of Park Lane as a fugitive from justice.
• Stealing was reported at Wal-mart at 7:14 p.m. Devin Schantz, 18, was arrested for stealing dvd games, valued at under $500.
• Domestic violence was reported at 8:56 p.m. in the 500 block of Pilgrim Avenue.
