Wentzville Police Blotter: Internet Photo Sex Offense, Threats by Text

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the on Wednesday, Aug. 1 and Thurs., Aug. 2.

August 1

• A DWI was reported at 12:18 a.m. on West Meyer Road at North Point Prairie Road.
• A DWI was reported at 1:25 a.m. on I-70 east at mile marker 212.
• Domestic violence was reported on Colonial Creek Court at 1:38 a.m.
• An auto accident was reported at 5:28 a.m. on I-70 west at mile marker 208.
• Property damage was reported in the 100 block of Bear Creek Drive at 6:40 a.m.
• Stealing was reported at 9:32 a.m. in the 100 block of Ashford Oaks Court. Money (more than $500) was stolen from a safe.
• A derelict vehicle on I-70 west at mile marker 210 was given a 48-hour warning at 9:57 a.m.
• Stealing was reported at at 1:13 p.m. A wallet was lost or stolen.
• An open door was reported on Brookshire Creek Drive at 1:16 p.m.
• An auto accident with injuries was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 2:46 p.m.
• Domestic violence was reported at 6:55 p.m. in the 700 block of Linda Lane.
• An auto accident with injuries was reported on I-70 east at Hwy. Z at 7:43 p.m.
• Police were called for a sick case in the 1400 block of Vero Drive at 10:24 p.m.

August 2

• Domestic violence was reported at 1:13 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Pearce Boulevard.
• Stealing was reported at 8:44 a.m. in the 300 block of Grand Oaks Court. A GPS and currency were stolen from a vehicle.
• Police were called for a sick case in the 600 block of Bethany Lane at 9:43 a.m.
• Stealing was reported in the 5100 block of Hwy. 40/61 at 11:07 a.m. A hay rake valued at over $500 was stolen.
• Officers were called to check the well-being of a subject in the 500 block of Medical Drive at 11:58 a.m.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of Lewis Street at 1:21 p.m.
• A sex offense was reported in the 800 block of Railway Circle at 4:18 p.m. The offense was related to sending photos over the Internet.
• An auto accident was reported in the 700 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 4:32 p.m.
• Harassment was reported in the 500 block of Sunshine Brook Drive at 4:46 p.m. Threatening text messages were sent to the victim. No prosecution was sought.
• An auto accident was reported on West Meyer Road at May Road at 5:25 p.m.
• Fraud was reported in the 200 block of Ashford Oaks Drive at 5:54 p.m. An account was opened in the victim's name.
• Fraud was reported in the 300 block of Evening Star Court at 6:07 p.m. A bad check was given to the victim.
• Stealing was reported in the 600 block of Linda Lane at 7:36 p.m. A bicycle was stolen.
