Wentzville Police Blotter: Partying in a Vacant House

Following is a list of reports made by officers of the , July 20 and 21.

July 20

• Domestic violence was reported at 12:04 a.m. in the 400 block of Wilson Street.
• A sudden death was reported at 8:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of Plaza Place.
• An accident was reported at 9:30 a.m. on I-70 west at mile marker 205.
• Stealing was reported in the 200 block of Cimarron Ridge Crossing at 10:37 a.m. A key and money clip valued at under $500 were stolen from a vehicle.
• Stealing was reported in the 400 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 11:35 a.m. The support rods for a playground set were taken. The items were valued at under $500.
• A fugitive was apprehended in the 400 block of Hickory Post Court at 12:34 p.m. Jeffrey Purgahn, 28, arrested on fugitive and failure to appear warrants.
• An auto accident was reported on I-70 west at mile marker 210 at 4:48 p.m.
• Stealing was reported at 5:54 p.m. at . The subject shoplifted a shirt.
• A drug overdose was reported at 7:52 p.m. on North Talley Street at East Pearce Boulevard. 2712
• A fugitive was apprehended at 8:57 p.m. on east Route A at Hidden Valley Drive.
• A fugitive was apprehended at 9:03 p.m. on Dale Avenue at East Pitman Ave.
• A disturbance/fight was reported in the 700 block of Melrose Street at 9:55 p.m. Kaitlyn Gallina, 21, was arrested for domestic violence.
• An accident was reported in the 300 block of Luetkenhaus Boulevard at 10:11 p.m.

July 21

• A disturbance/fight was reported in the 300 block of Park Lane at 12:12 a.m. Michael Swan, 23, was arrested on fugitive and failure to appear warrants.
• An open door was reported at at 1:54 a.m.
• Domestic violence was reported at 4:55 a.m. in the 400 block of Wilson Street.
• Possible animal abuse was reported in the 1500 block of Swantnerville Industrial Drive at 9:29 a.m.
• A civil disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Peine Hollow Place at 10:13 a.m.
• A fugitive was apprehended on Luetkenhaus Boulevard at Wentzville Parkway at 11:45 a.m. Darrin Morgan, 41, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
• Fraud was reported in the 1000 block of Silo Bend Drive at 1:33 pm. The subject received an error message on their computer and were advised to send $100 to repair it.
• Officers were called to keep the peace/standby in the 7100 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 1:55 p.m.
• A fugitive was apprehended at 2:49 p.m. on South Church Street at West Main Street. Michael Lawson, 29, was arrested on a fugitive warrant.
• Stealing was reported at Walmart at 3:44 p.m. Brennan Borengasser, 18, and a juvenile were arrested for stealing a cable.
• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 5:52 p.m. in the 100 block of Granite Way. A report was made of a subject’s possibly partying inside a vacant residence.
• Police were called to assist fire and ambulance at 7:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Service Road.
• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 8:39 p.m. in the 1400 block of Tree Top Court. The victim reported that she was assaulted because she told the suspect that she wouldn’t babysit any longer. No prosecution was made.
• A fugitive was apprehended in the 300 block of Luetkenhaus Boulevard at 10:52 p.m.
• A fugitive was apprehended in the 1500 block of Hwy. Z at 11:16 p.m.
