According to the city, there are 116 miles of concrete streets, 33.7 miles of asphalt streets and 219 miles of sidewalks in Wentzville.

Well, there's not really a definitive source for those questions. But the PCI rating—the pavement condition index score—can give us a glimpse. The score rates streets on a scale from zero to 100 and indicates a street's condition based on a visual test of a certain portion of the road.

According to city documents, Wentzville's PCI for asphalt streets is 82 and 71 for concrete streets.

Wentzville's Director of Public Works Scott Smith said the city's PCI goal should be set somewhere between 71 and 75 for budgeting and prioritizing purposes. The board consensus was to set the PCI at 71.
