Wentzville Schools Hosting TEEN CERT Basic Training to Teach Community Preparedness
TEEN CERT Basic Training offered to public through Mid America TEEN CERT, FEMA Youth Preparedness Council and Wentzville School District.

TEEN CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training teaches you lifelong readiness and first-response skills.
Hands-on practice and realistic exercises prepare you for unexpected emergencies in your community. Students learn how to provide basic medical aid, search for and rescue victims safely, and collect disaster intelligence to support first responder efforts. Leadership skills empower you to safely respond to an emergency and assist victims without endangering yourself or others.
The course will be taught on over 2 weekends, Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8 and November 14 and 15. The two Fridays will be 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and the Saturdays 8:00 am until 5:00 pm with 1 hour for lunch. All classes will be conducted at Wentzville Holt School, located at 600 Campus Drive in Wentzville, Mo 63385 by trained instructors and first responders.
