Wentzville Woman Seriously Injured in Sunday Crash

A Wentzville woman was seriously injured Sunday in a one-vehicle accident on westbound Interstate 70.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 6 p.m. Sunday on I-70, west of Bryan Road.

Mary A. Broner, 46, Wentzville, attempted to change lanes in her 2005 Chevrolet Malibu from the outside lane to the middle lane. She then moved back into the outside lane.

Broner overcorrected and traveled off the right side of the road, striking several trees. She was taken to St. Joseph East Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance with serious injuries.

Broner was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
