- Accomplishment: Tran won first place in the Pasta House Great Works of Art competition. The contest was open to students in the St. Louis metro area. It challenged them to take famous works of art and recreate them with prominent pasta placement.
- Key To Awesomeness: The selected entries were placed on display at the St. Louis Science Center from April 1-15, and the final judging was done by area art directors, graphic designers and other professionals. Tran received $1,000 for her first-place win. Second place received $500, third received $200 and five honorable mentions each received $100.
