• Identity of Fairview Heights man killed in Clark Bridge crash is released (bnd.com) — A Fairview Heights man died early Thursday after his SUV overturned along southbound U.S. 67 near the Clark Bridge in West Alton, where it left the roadway and rolled down an embankment. Authorities say the 40-year-old driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a seat belt. The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. near Riverlands Way.
