• Golfers take cover after gunfire near Incline Village Golf Club (firstalert4.com) — Golfers at Incline Village Golf Club, just north of Wright City, dove for cover Saturday evening after hearing gunfire and bullets whizzing near the course, prompting calls to police. Warren and Lincoln County sheriff's offices are investigating, and while no injuries or damage were reported, nearby residents say the close-range shooting was alarming and want safer gun use around the community.
   

• Big finish carries Mellegaard, Warrenton to finishes near top of conference (warrencountyrecord.com) — Wright City softball battled back from an early four-run deficit at Bowling Green but ultimately lost 9-8 on a walk-off single, despite big offensive nights from Harper Martin and Emma Swor. The Wildcats, now 8-13, quickly regroup with a home game against Clopton on Thursday, while neighboring Warrenton teams also turned in notable golf and softball performances.
