Amend Park Development Council To Hold Virtual Groundbreaking Cermony In Billings

We will be taking pictures on May 7th at 12:00pm at project site. Additionally, we will be creating a short "virtual groundbreaking".

May 5, 2020

The Billings Parks and Recreation Department and the Amend Park Development Council will be holding a “Groundbreaking Ceremony” to celebrate the installation of the synthetic turf fields at Amend Park. Out of concern for public safety, strict social distancing requirements will be in place for anyone in attendance. We will be narrowing the scope of the groundbreaking event and will instead organize a time to take a few quick pictures of a small group breaking soil at the project (while maintaining social distancing). The pictures will then be posted to our Facebook page and website as a “virtual groundbreaking” to celebrate the occasion. We will be taking the pictures on Thursday, May 7th at 12:00pm at the project site. Additionally, we will be creating a short “virtual groundbreaking” video to celebrate this momentous project which will also be shared on our social media pages and Billings Parks and Recreation YouTube channel.
