Cape Air to Add Eight Cessna Grand Caravan EX Aircraft for Eastern Montana Flights in 2027 (travelprnews.com) — Air travelers in Billings can expect upgraded regional flights starting in 2027, as Cape Air replaces its current fleet with eight new Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft. The Billings-based network will continue linking Sidney, Glendive, Wolf Point, Glasgow and Havre, with more reliable service and greater capacity for baggage, work gear and bulky items important to Eastern Montana residents.
   

2. Big 7th inning powers Billings to Game 1 win over Long Beach in PBL championship series (ktvq.com) — Billings baseball fans have a chance to see the Mustangs clinch the Pioneer League title at Dehler Park on Friday evening after their dominant 12-2 Game 1 win in Long Beach. With first pitch at 6:35 p.m. and a possible Game 3 Saturday, local supporters can watch a potential first championship since 2014 on home turf.
   

3. CRH Launches Partnership in Red Lodge (mybighornbasin.com) — Patients connected to Billings Clinic's Red Lodge affiliate will soon have better access to behavioral health care through a new partnership with Cody Regional Health. A psychiatric nurse practitioner will visit Beartooth Billings Clinic monthly starting this fall, while telemedicine consultations will help local primary care providers manage complex mental health needs closer to home in Carbon County.
   

4. Billings man paralyzed since childhood finds freedom on three wheels (ktvq.com) — A longtime Billings resident who has used a wheelchair since toddlerhood is finding independence and joy through thousands of miles on his handcycle. With help from a Billings Clinic assistant concerned about his risky driving setup, he's hoping for safer vehicle access while continuing to prioritize fitness, work, and everyday freedom around town.
   

5. Knudsen says "action from Congress" needed to improve MMIP response (ktvq.com) — Billings now hosts a new FBI field office, which Montana's attorney general says should strengthen law enforcement resources for tackling missing and murdered Indigenous persons cases. He's urging Congress to fix jurisdictional barriers on tribal lands, arguing state officers are limited without federal authority even as Indigenous people remain disproportionately represented among Montana's missing.
