Gallatin Wildlife Association celebrates 50 years (bozemandailychronicle.com) — A Bozeman-based conservation group, Gallatin Wildlife Association, just marked 50 years of advocating for wildlife and habitat across southwestern Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Local supporters gathered at the Baxter Hotel Ballroom as the group was honored as Montana Wildlife Federation's Affiliate of the Year and outlined plans for youth education, public talks, and nature hikes.
4. Honduran Man in US Illegally Charged With Attempted Homicide After Montana Stabbing, SWAT Standoff – [your]NEWS (yournews.com) — A Bozeman resident was seriously injured after an alleged knife attack inside a local home that led to a tense SWAT standoff and the suspect's arrest. Authorities say 28-year-old Nerlin Noel Martinez Amador is charged with deliberate attempted homicide and is being held without bond at the Gallatin County Detention Center, while the victim is expected to recover.
