The project stretches across Tinworks and the Museum of the Rockies into 2027, offering residents extensive opportunities to engage with Black and Indigenous art, history, and contemporary works rooted in the American West.
• Bozeman asked to donate new coats and winter gear as student need surges to nearly 500 requests (kbzk.com) — Bozeman families and neighbors are being asked to donate new winter coats, gear, or gift cards so nearly 500 local students can stay warm this season. You can drop off items at any Bozeman school through November or give to the Bozeman Schools Foundation's Essential Needs Fund, with organizers aiming to get everything to kids before Thanksgiving.
• Montana Department of Labor & Industry Honors 2026 Governor's Safety Achievement and Workers' Compensation Award Winners (mt.gov) — Bozeman's Martel Construction just earned its second consecutive Governor's Safety Achievement Award, recognized for intensive training, hazard prevention, and investing in safer equipment on job sites. The statewide conference also honored other employers, counties, and individual safety leaders whose efforts are cutting injuries and strengthening Montana's workers' compensation system, all with the goal of getting every employee home safe each day.
