• Gianforte honors final 2025 Montana Veteran Commendation Award recipients (ktvh.com) — A longtime Clancy resident, Sergeant Major Todd Gerving, is among 13 Montana veterans recently honored by the governor for both their military service and ongoing work in their communities. The statewide commendation program is accepting new nominations through October 28, giving Clancy neighbors a chance to recognize other local veterans whose quiet contributions deserve public thanks.
   

• Three years on, leadership program rippling out (jcmonitor.com) — Middle schoolers from Clancy and Boulder will soon join a six‑month Southwest Montana Youth Partners leadership program focused on service projects and community engagement. Past participants report feeling more hopeful, confident, and connected, and this year's North County cohort will log volunteer hours and design their own project to tackle needs they see close to home.
