1. Missoula County considers $7.3M water project in Lolo (missoulacurrent.com) — Missoula County is moving toward a $7.3 million overhaul of Lolo's aging water and wastewater system, which has been out of compliance with state capacity standards. Homeowners in the district would see bond assessments if the plan advances to construction next year.

4. Sterling CRE applies for tax increment financing to begin proposed development of Midtown (nbcmontana.com) — A major redevelopment along Brooks Street in Missoula could soon move forward, as Sterling CRE has applied for tax increment financing from the Missoula Redevelopment Agency to build the new Midtown Market. The project would replace existing businesses with a Whole Foods-anchored retail center, public plaza, and upgraded utilities, pending MRA approval on October 23 and targeting completion by April 2028.
