Weather permitting, City contractors will install groundwater monitoring wells at Montana Rail Link Park, 2300 Johnson St., later this month. The work is tentatively scheduled for October 21 through October 24, but it is weather dependent. We’ll post project updates here.

The project should have minimal impact on park users. Short sections of the Johnson St. sidewalk may be closed to protect visitor safety. The wells are part of the effort to redevelop the adjacent 8-acre parcel the City acquired from Montana Rail Link in 2017.
