Parks and Recreation and the Downtown Missoula Partnership invite residents to view and comment on the new draft master plan for north riverfront parks and trails through May 27.

City staff have been working with residents, stakeholders, and downtown business owners since last fall to envision the future of Downtown parks and trails like Caras, Bess Reed, and Kiwanis parks, plus Ron’s River Trail.
As an added component of the 2019 Downtown Missoula Master Plan Update, the North Riverside Parks & Trails Plan provides additional details and design concepts for the city center parks and riverfront with a focus on more year-round opportunities for residents and guests.

The online presentation features short videos about each section of the plan and includes an online survey for the public to provide feedback and input. Public comment will be accepted through May 27.
The new master park plan will allow community partners to implement Missoula’s shared vision for riverside parks and trails as the Downtown district evolves over the next decade.
