Detour On North Shore Riverfront Trail Beginning February 24

The north shore Riverfront Trail from California Street to Russell Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, February 24 to March 6. A detour will be in place to protect trail users during a City of Missoula levee maintenance project involving heavy equipment.

Trail users will be detoured onto California St. and the north side of W. Broadway during the closure. The detour route uses the W. Broadway sidewalk system and may add about 5 minutes of travel time for cyclists and 10 minutes for pedestrians. Please see the detour map linked below.
