The health department is encouraging local parents and guardians to take part in a week of education leading up to the approval of vaccines for ages five and older. Make time this week to talk with your doctor or pediatrician about concerns you have, ask your pediatrician for resources to learn more, follow and share the health department's information on social media and disarm disinformation you may find. "As a long-range planner for Missoula County, I work toward big-picture goals and think about how to best create lasting value and prosperity in our communities. Most recently, my work has focused on the Missoula County Zoning Update. For this project, we are comprehensively updating our zoning code to modernize our development practices and align our regulations with current Missoula County values. My role in this project has ranged from data analyst to public outreach coordinator to document copy editor. This diversity of responsibilities keeps me on my toes and makes my day-to-day work interesting.

Overall, I count myself extremely lucky to be able to work and learn from the amazing team in the County planning department.
