South Ave.-S. Higgins Ave. Intersection Street Maintenance Work In Missoula Begins May 4
Depending on weather, the project should be finished in about three days. The public can expect temporary detours.

The project involves curb-to-curb milling of the deteriorated asphalt and placement of new asphalt around and through the intersection of South Avenue and S. Higgins Avenue. Work on South Avenue will begin at Ronald Street and move west to one-half block west of Higgins Avenue. On Higgins Avenue, work will span the area one-half block north to one-half block south of South Avenue through the intersection. Depending on weather, the project should be finished in about three days. The public can expect temporary detours and minimal delays during this time. There will be on-site traffic control, but drivers should use an alternate route if possible.
