• Mattel Wonder Indoor Water Park (omaha.com) — Bellevue is set to host the world's first Mattel Wonder Indoor Water Park, anchoring the city's growing Good Life District northwest of Highways 75 and 34. Opening in late 2027, the 100,000-square-foot park could spur major nearby retail, housing, lodging and entertainment development on 35 adjacent acres.
• Mattel Water Park Takes Shape (growomaha.com) — Bellevue's planned Mattel Wonder Indoor Water Park is highlighted as a future fourth-largest indoor water park worldwide and the brand's first location, promising a major tourism draw for the city. The broader show also tracks big Omaha-area projects, from a new Menards and soccer stadium to biotech labs and affordable housing developments.
• Texas man arrested after sexually exploiting minors in Omaha metro, across U.S. (wowt.com) — A federal child exploitation investigation has identified at least one victim in Bellevue, tying a Texas suspect to more than 50 alleged online abuse cases nationwide. Douglas and Sarpy County investigators, working with the FBI, say the man has been detained in Texas since March while federal charges related to the exploitation move forward.
