Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO) returns May 15–17, 2026, to historic South Omaha for Nebraska’s largest and most celebrated cultural festival for 106 years. Recognized as the state’s #1 cultural attraction and recipient of Nebraska’s highest tourism honor, the 2023 Henry Fonda Award, CDMO draws visitors from across the Midwest for a vibrant, multi-day celebration of Mexican heritage and Latino culture.

The festival features live cultural music and entertainment throughout the weekend, Omaha’s largest parade on Saturday morning, carnival rides for the entire family, and a vibrant mix of food vendors, exhibitors, and businesses from around the Midwest. Attendees can explore the community Health Fair and wellness resources on Saturday, a dedicated STEM Hub for kids, and the Mariachi Mass on Sunday morning.

Free and open to the public, Cinco de Mayo Omaha offers an immersive, inclusive experience that blends tradition, culture, and community pride in one of Omaha’s most historic neighborhoods. For full daily schedules and start times, visit cdmomaha.com.
