Omaha Police officers from all five precincts and the OPD Traffic Unit recently participated in operations focused on unlicensed vehicles being operated in Omaha. These operations were conducted between August 4th and September 10th. During that time period, officers issued 816 citations for the following 1,023 total offenses:

Complaints about unlicensed vehicles is one of the top complaints each month to the Mayor's Hotline.

OPD reminds vehicle owners to properly register and plate your vehicle within 30 days of the initial purchase, renew plates on time annually, and upon renewal, apply the new stickers in the upper right hand corner.

Officers will continue to take enforcement actions on these violations in coming months.
