Vaccine clinics for children ages 5-11 will begin Monday, November 8. The Douglas County Health Department has scheduled five clinics at OPS schools next week. All clinics are open to the public from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Monday November 8:Beveridge Magnet Middle School 616 S. 120th Street
McMillan Magnet Middle School 3802 Redick Avenue

Tuesday November 9:Marrs Magnet Middle School 5619 S. 19th Street
Nathan Hale Magnet Middle School 6143 Whitmore Street
Friday November 12:Millard North Middle School 2828 S. 139th Street
Additional clinics at schools throughout the county are set in the coming weeks. This is a specialized vaccine for children. Younger children will be getting a smaller dose delivered with smaller needles for smaller arms. It is a different formulation, in different packaging and this process requires great sensitivity.
