• Ralston Middle School cuts chronic absenteeism rate by more than half (wowt.com) — Ralston Middle School has slashed its chronic absenteeism rate from about one-third of students to roughly 15%, thanks to new incentives, closer relationships, and mentoring. Ralston Public Schools leaders say daily attendance raffles, staff lunch mentoring, and quick follow-up calls are helping families overcome barriers like transportation and food insecurity, with test scores also improving.
