Nevada Marijuana: Licensing For Non-Booze Retailers Delayed

Nevada marijuana regulators will wait to hear an appeal from a group of state liquor wholesalers later this month.

Judge James Russell said he had no authority to override the department's decision earlier this month that there weren't enough alcohol distributors to keep up with demand. He said the Independent Alcohol Distributors of Nevada must first exhaust all administrative remedies and file a formal appeal with the Tax Commission.
