Nevada Voter Fraud: Secretary Of State Says Three Non-Citizens Voted
The Secretary of State found that out of of 1.5 million votes cast in 2016, three had been cast by non-citizens.

Three non-citizens voted last year in Nevada, according to a review by the office of Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske. That's out of about 1.5 million votes cast in the state in 2016.
Her announcement came in a release following a letter from her to the state's department of motor vehicles claiming DMV employees had assisted non-citizens register to vote.
"It has come to our attention that when offering voter registration opportunities to customers, DMV's employees offer voter registration materials to DMV customers whom they know to be non-citizens based upon their presentation of a Green Card for identification purposes," she wrote.

"We have reason to believe that non-citizens have unlawfully registered to vote as a direct result of DMV's practices. We have now confirmed that some noncitizens illegally cast votes in the 2016 general election."

That assertion led to pushback from the DMV, ACLU and others, some of whom pointed out that after President Trump claimed 3 million people had illegally cast votes in the election, Cegavske had said, "There is no evidence of voters illegally casting ballots in the most recent election."
The ACLU and DMV released statements pointing out that it's not DMV's job to check registrations, they merely provide the registration forms and do so under an agreement the secretary of state's office participated in.
"Your letter comes as a complete surprise as you and your office have reviewed, contributed to, and approved the processes you are expressing concerns about," DMV Director Terri Albertson wrote in response.
Cegavske said that after her statement in January on "no evidence," her office received information from the DMV about 100 people who either presented evidence of non-citizenship while obtaining services from the DMV or completed a voter registration application while at the DMV. The office then determined that 21 individuals from that list voted. Of those, three turned out to be non-citizens.
"Given the early stages of this investigation, it is inappropriate for us to comment further," Cegavske said. "We anticipate we will have additional information about the investigation in the next few months."
