• Armed threat outside Fernley convenience store sparks investigation, ends in arrest (mynews4.com) — Lyon County deputies arrested a Fernley man after witnesses reported he threatened to shoot people outside a convenience store on East Main Street and fired gunshots while leaving in a vehicle. Investigators used surveillance footage to identify the suspect, later arresting him in Fernley on multiple firearm and assault-related charges.
   

• Sheriff's office investigates Fernley-area rollover after driver declines treatment (mynews4.com) — Emergency crews responded late Wednesday morning to a single-vehicle rollover just south of Fernley, where a car ended up on its side in a retention pond off Walnut Drive. The driver was helped out safely, evaluated by North Lyon Fire paramedics, declined further treatment, and the Lyon County Sheriff's Office is now handling the investigation.
