- Bald by Design, a local fundraising team for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, recently reached $1 million raised. In 2012, the Las Vegas chapter of the American Institute of Architects became the sponsor of the Bald by Design team, with the continued support of the American Nevada Company. The team raised more than $100,000 every single year from 2016 to 2019 — with $93,645 raised in 2020, despite the pandemic. (News3LV)
- The Vegas Chamber is preparing to travel to Washington, D.C. Monday for its annual "Fly-In" to build relationships with federal lawmakers and lobby on behalf of the Las Vegas business community. This year's annual trip is especially important for the many small business owners across Southern Nevada who are desperately trying to recover financially in the wake of COVID-19. The Chamber is also teaming up once again with the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance to explore ways to diversify the Nevada economy, which is largely dependent on tourism. (News3LV)
