Silver State Equality honors local leaders at annual Las Vegas awards (fox5vegas.com) — Las Vegas residents saw their mayor, Shelley Berkley, honored with the Equality Ally Award at Silver State Equality's annual awards gala in the city. The event, held at the Vanderpump Hotel, also recognized Nevada Independent founder Jon Ralston and raised funds for year‑round LGBTQ+ advocacy and community outreach across Nevada. The celebration highlighted Las Vegas' image as a diverse, welcoming community.
