Aguilar reaches out to voter with mail issue (ktnv.com) β A Las Vegas voter's long-running problem with election mail for a previous homeowner prompted Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar to call him personally and explain how voter rolls are updated. Aguilar says residents should mark misaddressed election mail "return to sender" so Clark County can inactivate outdated registrations, stressing that safeguards like signature checks still protect against illegitimate voting.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission joins βConversations on a Benchβ on homelessness, addiction (news3lv.com) β The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is taking part today in a live-streamed national "Conversations on a Bench" discussion about homelessness and addiction, with special attention on locals 50 and older becoming homeless for the first time. The Bonanza Road shelter, which already houses hundreds of adults and families, hopes the outdoor conversation will highlight both the growing need and the resources available in Las Vegas.

5. 144 Suspects Arrested Following Las Vegas Homeland Security Task Force Investigations (justice.gov) β A Homeland Security Task Force operation in the greater Las Vegas area led to 144 arrests, 290 seized firearms, and over 1,100 kilograms of narcotics taken off the streets in just three months. Federal, state, and local agencies say the crackdown, launched under a recent presidential executive order, is aimed at dismantling cartels and gangs threatening public safety for Las Vegas and southern Nevada residents.
